Tires good, exhaust good, front brake pads very good, rear pads new, windshield very good (1 year). Includes tool kit, BMW rag, and owner’s manual.

This bike, besides being meticulously serviced, has been maintained and upgraded above original configuration. One year ago, the owner had us replace all 3 brake discs with EBC floating brake discs and new pads were installed. Also, all throttle and choke cables were replaced. Two years ago, we installed a BMW Factory 336 Sport cam, new lifters, new valve springs, new piston rings, motor was completely re-sealed, and a ground upgrade kit was installed. Four years ago we installed a new clutch and installed an updated shift kit in the transmission.

Paint on tank, front fender, and seat tailpiece is Very Good. Paint on fairing and battery covers is faded, has moderate chipping on the edges, but is essentially intact.

This bike would make an excellent and stylish daily commuter or a weekend tourer. The 1000cc motor has plenty of power for high speed two up riding or for pushing it hard through the twisty two lane back roads. The addition of the relatively mild Factory “Sport” cam makes the motor produce more torque in the midrange, and a noticeable boost in horsepower from midrange to top end, making it even better than stock at on-ramp merging, passing quickly, or powering out of a corner, without a significant reduction in engine life.
