Cylinder base O'RING fits all 1978-95 R-bike cylinders that have a o'ring groove around the flange that fits into the block. DO NOT try to use with a 1977 or early 1978 cylinder that does not have a o'ring groove! Those early cylinders without the o'ring must be glued down with a light application of Three Bond #1211 sealant (NEVER USE "RTV" Silicone type sealant to glue down the cylinder to stop leaks! Silicone pieces will peel off and float through the oil passages in the block until lodging in the tiny crankshaft oil feed passage. This will cause VERY expensive fatal damage to your crankshaft and/or rods.)
IMPORTANT REMINDER: ALL 1976-95 R-bike cylinders must still use one small o'ring (11 11 1 262 141) on each of the TWO upper cylinder studs.
