The Metzeller tires are in GOOD condition. It has a NEW (less than 1 month) sealed Westco battery. The paint is in VERY GOOD condition; the color is brilliant, and the surface is glossy. There are only 2 very small paint flaws on the entire bike (please see photos on Picturepush.com; see link below). There are some light scratches in the lower left corner of the windshield, left hand guard, and left mirror. The Corbin leather seats are in VERY GOOD condition. The REMUS Exhaust is in VERY Good condition. There are very light scuffs on the System Case lids, but barely noticeable (NOT scratches or road rash).
The REMUS Dyno Tuned 2 into 1 Stainless and Titanium exhaust gives a nice mild boost in HP and Torque, saves a lot of weight, and gives the bike a deep throaty exhaust note that is louder than stock, but not obnoxious or raucous.
Our owner bought this bike at auction 5 ½ years ago. It had very mild low speed tip-over damage. The title is clear, but branded as rebuilt. Before repair, we disassembled the entire front end and carefully inspected all parts for damage (there was none), and checked the frame with a BMW frame jug (it was perfect). The fairing upper could have easily been repaired, but we had one available so we just painted it to match and changed it. The stock windshield was slightly cracked at a bolt hole, but useable. After some miles, we exchanged it for a used touring shield. The very light scratches on the mirror were there when we got bike. The BMW hand guards (from a R1100GS) were used when we put them on.
The bike is very clean throughout. It attracts attention every time it’s parked. The power is impressive! The handling is outstanding, yet the ride is smooth and comfortable (thanks to $2000 of Ohlins shocks). The ABS braking is superb! The owner decided to sell it because chronic poor impulse control found him riding in excess of the legal limit way too much of the time, because the bike made it so smooth and effortless.
