This beautiful 1969 BMW R50/2 is equipped with the Earls style front fork. It was professionally restored 12 to 15 years ago, and ridden lightly since. The paint and stripes are of the quality that they appear as original from the factory. The engine and frame have matching serial numbers. The original sidecar lugs are still intact on the frame. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. All the electrics and the brakes are in good condition and work properly. It is very clean and eye catching; a bike you can be truly proud to be seen on!

This BMW also has numerous BMW accessory parts installed; Chrome headlight guard, headlight mount Albert mirrors, Bar-end turnsignals, Albert left side bar mirror, Chrome front and rear wheel covers and axles with stainless nuts, Chrome front brake backing plate, Chrome wheel rims, Denfeld leather saddlebags, Willie & Max leather tool bag, Denfeld rack with 6V LED auxiliary brake lights mounted on the rear edge, and reproduction chrome original mufflers. The Vintage style Avon Roadrunner tires are in very good condition.

We have just performed a BMW Factory Recommended 10K service on this bike. It is ready to ride the rest of the riding season with only additional oil changes every 1000 miles.

The warts: The paint is generally in very good condition. The exceptions are; very light surface scratches on the front of the front fender just in front of the fender brace, and light acid damage behind and below the battery. The wheel spokes are showing light wear in the chrome. The sport style headers are in good condition, with only minor discoloration in the first half of the bend. The tire pump is missing, but the mounts are perfect. The Denfeld rack shows an old weld, which is starting to crack on the left side (we’ll be looking for a replacement).
